IoT - Electronic Engineer
Job Description
Support in the design and assembly of PCBs (printed circuit boards), as well as their programming. Knowledge of PLC programming (programmable logic controllers) for industrial process automation is also required.
- Design and program electronic circuits for internal or research projects.
- Assemble, test, and diagnose PCBs to ensure proper functionality.
- Program and configure PLCs for process automation.
- Document and track project progress, including schematics, diagrams, and code.
- Perform functionality tests and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Provide technical support and collaborate with other teams in the implementation of electronic systems.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (ongoing or completed).
- At least 1 year of experience.
- Knowledge of electronics for PCB design and manufacturing.
- Experience with PCB design software (such as Altium Designer, KiCAD, or Eagle).
- Experience with soldering stations and component integration on PCBs.
- Programming experience with microcontrollers (e.g., C, C++, Python, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of development boards such as Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with instrumentation and testing equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters).
- Familiarity with electronic design and PCB manufacturing standards (IPC).
- Knowledge of communication protocols (HTTP, MQTT).
- Understanding of communication networks (Sigfox, LoRa, NB-IoT, GPRS, BLE).
- Experience in Siemens PLC programming (e.g., Ladder Logic, SCL).
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
