Invest in Spain is an Executive Directorate of ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones, a public and business entity chaired by the State Secretariat for Trade of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism. Its mission is to encourage foreign direct investment (FDI) in Spain and to assist businesspeople and entrepreneurs seeking to establish their businesses in our country.
Main colours
We considered the AA accessibility requirement inherited from the ICEX digital corporate identity in developing the website's designs, color usage, and font.
This requirement demanded a minimum contrast between the background colour and the colour of the text on it. Ensuring a minimum contrast between the background and text colours improves readability for users with physical difficulties.

Secondary colours
The secondary colours are also taken from the ICEX corporate identity.
We have introduced a gradient as a new corporate colour, which starts with an orange hue and fades into the brand’s red colour. This gradient is used in the general iconography section and can also be applied as a shaded area over background images.

This website is a "haute couture suit".
Since the visual content we have used is impactful, we have given it space to shine on its own.

The ICEX – Invest in Spain website is a portal with a high volume of content. We faced challenges in developing a website architecture that would allow for easy navigation and help users find the information they need. The content on each page is also structured to improve the user experience.
In terms of interface design, we took great care to ensure graphic coherence among all elements and the space between them. We also use graphics and infographics to facilitate information understanding.
Thanks to the points mentioned before, we were able to ensure that the designs included:
- A clear and orderly page structure based on the information hierarchy.
- A clean design with spacing between elements to create a sense of cleanliness and order.
- Legible, visually organised and easy-to-read content.
3D elements and graphics
All website elements and functionalities follow a consistent graphic style across all pages. Additionally, the use of graphics and 3D elements enhances the understanding of the published content.

Custom-made details
This project has been customised down to the smallest detail. All graphic elements such as icons, graphs, tables, and infographics have been designed to enhance the messages presented alongside them. Thanks to these elements, we present attractive and original modules that help to focus the user's attention.

A website compatible with different browsers and devices.
We used the mobile-first approach in our design process. This method helps us eliminate anything unnecessary and create a responsive design focused on both the visual and content aspects. It allows us to add information based on screen size, which results in designs that easily adapt to different browsers and devices.
